FOR GROWN-UPS · EPISODE 02
Happy Hears a Mystery Sound
A few easy ways to explore listening together.
The video is coming soon. You can use the everyday activity now.
BEFORE THE STORY
Listen to the room for a quiet moment. You can play without making any new sounds.
WHILE YOU WATCH
Compare the soft cluck, woof, and creak. Pause if your child wants more time to listen.
AFTER THE STORY
How did being quiet help the friends solve the mystery?
Make it fit your child
Keep it simple
Offer two possible sound-makers. Point to pictures or nearby objects if words are tricky.
Explore a little further
Ask your child which clue made them change their guess.
Try it in your day
Take a seated listening break and name three ordinary sounds. Keep the volume comfortable.
Follow your child’s interest. Pointing, talking, drawing, and watching together all count as joining in; there is no score to earn.
